Magister Software has included two new products to the list of SmartCash RMS Certified Equipment: Metrologic MS7820 Solaris omnidirectional scanner and Zebra GK420 bar code printer, aiming to replace withdrawn models Metrologic InVista scanner and Zebra LP2844 bar code printer.
Metrologic MS7820 Solaris omnidirectional scanner matches high-speed sales environment increasing productivity even in aggressive environment, minimizing service costs and downtime. Solaris conveniently contributes to the improvement of sales process by an extended depth of field and advanced decoding device. The cashiers will thus have little concern for product orientation or print quality.
Zebra GK420 is a reliable, compact and high performance thermal printer durable and flexible in any environment. Having the smallest footprint of any 4-inch desktop printer and the easiest loading system available, GK420 saves the users’ time and space. Printing includes receipts, labels and tags.

In cooperation with the WinMENTOR specialists, Magister Software finalized the tests and the implementation of the communication interface connecting SmartCash RMS – retail management software and WinMENTOR - integrated billing and accounting management software.
By means of the SmartCash NetBridge component, as part of the SmartCash RMS package and the homologous component DocImp Server, as part of the WinMENTOR package, the data transfer takes place between a SmartCash RMS retail chain and a company’s accounting department, without any human contribution.
Thanks to the advanced supervision and data conversion technology included in the SmartCash NetBridge component, the interface maintenance is extremely easy. This is also due to the email alerts integrated system.
WinMENTOR as well as SmartCash RMS are reliable solutions, widely used in Romania and the users of both applications can now benefit from the advantages of the new interface.

SmartCash RMS will ensure suport for the Mettler Toledo digital scales starting from May 2009. The implementation will be finalized in the next version, thus, SmartCash RMS will be able to integrate the mid-range and high-end of such type of labeling scales.
