Almost 100 people, representing 45 operators in the sector of retail solution providers, but also retailers, participated, on the weekend of November 13-15 this year, in the sixth meeting of Magister Software partners, hosted by Hotel Palace in Baile Govora resort. Organized annually, in the first part of November, starting with 2010, the event is a reference in the retail solutions industry in Romania, enjoying every time a wide participation and avid interest among the profile suppliers and not only.
Unlike other editions, the 2015 event was unique in that it brought together for the first time solution providers and several retailers, users of SmartCash RMS solutions, developed by Magister. Among the invited traders were Praxis, an important chain of convenience stores in Pitesti, Inan Impex, a bakery and confectionery manufacturer with many outlets in Bacau, and CBA Nord Vest, a well-known FMCG distributor and a major franchisor in the north. -west of Romania.
Representatives of Inan Impex and CBA North West gave presentations with case studies, bringing a new user perspective on the retail projects discussed. Thus, the participants in the event had the opportunity to realize, once again, the importance, opportunities and implications of their activity, as well as the multiple benefits that the SmartCash suite and related equipment provided by partners and integrators can provide merchants in various fields of activity – for example, manufacturer stores.
The conference also included the evaluation of the commercial activity of the SmartCash distributor network, as well as the awarding of the ten best performing SmartCash authorized dealers, depending on the results obtained this year. For the sixth time in a row, the Velvet Com company from Bacau, SmartCash certified partner and Magister authorized service and technical support center, ranked first. The second place went to Simon Electronics, a certified partner from Satu Mare, and the third place went to GB Service, a certified partner from Ramnicu Valcea – both on the podium for the first time.
The conference was followed by a trip to the Ocnele Mari Salt Mine and the Hurezi Monastery, important tourist attractions of the area, as well as the traditional festive dinner.
During the Meeting, the participants – solution providers and retailers alike – found out the directions of Magister development for next year, occasioned both by the legislative novelties and by the change of mentality among the traditional traders. The common desideratum of the Magister partner network from all over the country is for the Romanian retailers to take advantage of the fiscal changes in order to relaunch their business on a new, more solid basis, and with a long-term perspective.
