Cash & Carry Maurana
Developed on approximately 1,300sqm, the Maurana warehouse sells for self-service companies a range of approximately 7500 SKUs grouped in 22 departments. The product portfolio mainly includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, but also sweets, detergents, tobacco and dairy products.
The challenge of the Maurana project was the need to accelerate the processes of sale and receipt of goods, in conditions of extremely high customer traffic.
Specific to the Maurana warehouse is the possibility of simultaneous marketing in two complementary regimes: the sale with a tax receipt for individuals and the sale by invoicing to legal entities.
In the case of this operator, the two regimes are ensured by separating the collection lines on differentiated operating flows.
For stock control, a mobile solution has been implemented that uses wireless terminals equipped with the Android operating system and the application SmartCash Mobility . They are used both for inventory and for processing VIP orders, respectively orders that are prepared in advance, for customers who purchase large quantities.
The implementation of the Magister solution led to the increase of delivery capacities and consequently to the doubling of the storage space in less than 2 years from the implementation date.
I can say that I started right in choosing this system because in the last few years since then, it has been a major help in the development of the company’s activity.
