Personnel Training

The training of personnel in order to ensure a proper usage of the solution is the most important step in the process of opening an out-of-the-box shop. By employing a consistent approach comprising a set of strict procedures, our trainers are set to make sure that at the end of the training stage each employee can perform their tasks.

The process of training the operational staff takes 30 calendar days. It starts right after the installation in finished and the equipment is set in motion, a stage that is documentated by the Installation Acceptance Report.

This training is a complex process that must reach a series of main objectives. These are:

  • Acquisition of the sales process using the cash register or the SmartCash POS terminal;
  • Acquisition of the knowledge to solve the most common problems that occur in the sales process;
  • Understanding the operating modes of specific hardware and their usages;
  • Rules of cooperation with the back office clerks in order to update various shop data;
  • Properly checking in the delivered goods according to invoice or waybill;
  • Properly preparing and sorting of sample products in order to check them in;
  • Automated inventory checking;
  • Methods of price updating and checking at shelf techniques;;
  • Stock reconciliation techniques for the most common errors in data collection;
  • Sales techniques;
  • Taking stock and methods of achieving a perfect inventory;

Since it is such a complex learning process that comprises equipment usage know-how through software applications, the training stretches in time and it is planned in several sessions. Each training session doesn’t take more than 2-3 hours. Reaching all the training goals is ensured by the Operator Training Report which is included in every SmartCash RMS package.

The vast experience we have in training shop employees has proved us that no matter how well prepared a person is, the maximum of eficiency is reached only when the technique learning by discovery is employed  This means that after a preliminary training session we try to deliver the necessary theoretical background information only when it is requested by day-to-day tasks. This  way, training and practice synchronize, and employees are much more motivated to learn because daily duties urge them.

“My name is George Mohanescu and I am Magister’s Operational Dispatcher. Scheduling and monitoring training services represents one of my main daily objectives. I permanently make sure on a national level that the training sessions run their courses as planned in all of the 30 days for each new store.

I know from experience that at first you will be frustrated because you will not get all the information at once. Be patient! No one can take in such an amount of know-how that fast. At the end of the 30 days you’ll be aces! Even so, if you happen to forget some of the things you were explained during trainings, don’t worry! You just have to give us a call at 021.5693699. One of my colleagues will call you back and explain you step-by-step, on your own screen, how to perform all the operations you learned. During the 30 days you can call us for free whenever you are in need!

If you are dissatisfied by the training or you didn’t agree with one of our trainers please let me know by filling out the form below:”
